For those looking to form an LLC in New York, it may be a good idea to Tweet about it, as a recent report from the Business Insider claims the Big Apple boasts the highest per capita use of the micro-blogging network Twitter than any other city in the U.S.
In addition, the source reports that New York state residents use Twitter 30 percent more than the national average.
But given New York's burgeoning tech scene - not to mention its media-saturated environment - it seems fitting that Twitter would be used so heavily and suggests businesses in the area may want to develop their own Twitter marketing strategies to connect with such a wide base of users.
However, Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry points out in the article that this may be a misleading statistic, at least in regards to Twitter's business and marketing potential.
"This could be interpreted as a bearish signal: Because New York is such a media (and tech!) town, it could lend credence to the idea that Twitter is having a hard time breaking into the mainstream, and that its outsized prominence is due more to people in the media being ga-ga over it than over real-world usage," Gobry writes for the source.
