Amid heated debate over how to best tackle mounting deficits on the state and local level, the U.S. job market may be making a substantial recovery, according to the ADP National Employment Report.

Released Wednesday, the study finds the economy added 217,000 private sector jobs last month, providing a solid boost to national confidence ahead of Friday's employment report from the Department of Labor.

"The recent pattern of rising employment gains since the middle of last year was reinforced by today's report, as the average gain from December through February (217,000) is well above the average gain over the prior six months (63,000)," the report reads.

As New York City has emerged strongly from the recession - with an unemployment rate below the national average in addition to greater small business hiring rates - many entrepreneurs considering incorporation in New York may look to the city for encouragement.

Still, the economy has a ways to go before it reaches pre-recession levels. What's more, a bill recently introduced in Congress regarding the extension of unemployment benefits may also influence coming employment trends.
