Business owners planning to incorporate in Texas or other states must avoid the "chaos" by expressing self-confidence, automating operations and keeping an optimistic - yet realistic - outlook.
Clate Mask, an experienced entrepreneur, co-authored a book about how business owners can avoid the "chaos" of small business and enjoy their business ventures.
"What are the symptoms [of chaos]?," Mask asks. "All-nighters at the office. Missed Little League games. Cold dinners and disappointed families waiting for you at home."
He lists a few simple tips at Small Business Trends.
First, using computers for as many tasks as possible can save time and money. Mask notes that tedious paperwork can often be reduced using accounting or human resources software.
Additionally, maintaining a "disciplined optimism" keeps things positive but still grounded in reality.
Finally, Mask says expressing self-confidence in business decisions will rub off on employees and project an image of success.
Entrepreneur Rajiv Dingra agrees with the importance of creating an "aura" of confidence. He writes in the Wall Street Journal that showing disappointment or anxiety over business operations in front of employees can often have a negative effect on morale.
